We don't all see things exactly the same way. What you feel is important about being a man may be very different than other men, and/or different than what our partners, children, friends and family want, need and/or expect from us.
I have been married for almost 40 years. I have 2 adult sons, in their 30's who are independent, with families of their own and they are thriving. I had a very successful executive career and now I have something to bring to my clients that can only be obtained by experience and living it, not just reading about it.

So you want to work in the death care space (cemeteries, funeral homes, crematories, etc.)? The nature of these types of businesses is that it is very difficult to remain in the field if you don't truly want to play a part in helping your fellow human beings! It is true that almost anyone can have some level of "success" for some period of time, and for the long hall, you will need a multitude of skills and a very specific mindset.
Each silo of the business is a bit different than the other. It is probably obvious to most, that some roles involve working directly with the deceased and others are focused on the family of the deceased. Some roles involve mostly service and others involve products and services. Whichever side you find yourself in or exploring, be prepared to commit yourself to all that it entails.
I spent over 30 years in this space and have a high level understanding of how to "succeed", how to balance service and income, and how to navigate what can at times feel like opposing driving factors. I've worked with family owned locations and publicly owned corporations. I have expertise in sales, operations and administration and achieved a C-Suite role in a very large company. The bottom line is that I know how to help you succeed at whatever level you are aiming for.
